Batterijakten. Site + Game + App 

The Client:
Batterijakten is the recycling competition for all schools in Sweden organized by Sweden government along with VARTA and Clas Ohlson. In the last four years, Sweden's fourth-class nationals have gathered and recycled hundreds of tons of batteries.

The Challenge:
To create the 2017 digital platform for that year competition, with a focus not only on the contest itself but also on creating a way for kids to learn about recycling. 

The Solution:
We created a website as a base for all contest information and two apps into one. 
The first part of the app was a game inspired by Pokemon Go for kids to gather digital batteries in exchange for points for their schools. To gather this points they also needed to answer recycling related quizzes.
The second part of the app was a companion to the site, for teachers to upload the amount of batteries collected and for kids to check their school scores.
